This is a retrospective on GenderTalk in recognition of the Transgender Day of Remembrance, which took place yesterday on Monday November 20th. GenderTalk ran on WMBR for nearly 11 years and was dedicated to "speaking the language of gender" from a first-person perspective. You can read more about the program and hear archived episodes on the GenderTalk website.
Tonight's show features music, poetry and other writing by transgender, non-binary and gender-nonconforming artists, in addition to clips from archived episodes of GenderTalk and other recordings/media.
