Inspired by composer's frequent visit to Cuba over last decade. Three movements: I - Manisero (peanut vender's cry in Old Havana); II. Guajira (deconstructs unofficial national anthem of Cuba) ; III - Timba (illustrating connections between music and dance in Cuban history).
