h/t Bazooka Joe via the face book: "4-Letter Words from Athol, MA featuring a juvenile Dana Hatch (Cheater Slicks). Perfectly trashy 1981 recordings with some obvious 60s covers that sound so authentically SIXTIES they could have been issued on a poorly selling Norton Records 7inch “reissue” (see: THE U-TURNS) and two versions of The Modern Lovers “Roadrunner” - one of them recorded live at Cantone’s. There are a few originals here too. “Spoil Sport” has Mr. Hatch proto Cheater Slicking “Possession.”
