"Go Fly A Kite: Songs for Rick is a compilation created for Rick Dirck: father; friend; DJ and long-time volunteer at the Portsmouth, NH community radio station WSCA 106.1 FM; full-hearted believer in the power of music; flyer of kites; and endlessly more. All of the bands featured here are loved by Rick; he played them on his radio show, and some he even booked live gigs for at the Button Factory Stage at WSCA. This compilation was created with three intentions: to present Rick with a collection of new songs by his favorite bands, to share our gratitude and love, and to raise money to help support his family as he contends with cancer.
