The Ducks (formerly known as the Jeff Blackburn Band) were a short-lived American hard rock supergroup formed in the summer of 1977 by singer-songwriter Jeff Blackburn. The band included Bob Mosley (an original member of Moby Grape),Neil Young, and Johnny Craviotto. The band played a series of impromptu bar gigs around the Santa Cruz area in 1977. The set lists were very democratic, with each member of the band taking the lead in turn. / This will be their first official release - click on the Link above, left to read about this release.

This was Berry's _last_ Top-40 hit for over 8 years, till 'My Ding-a-Ling', in the fall of 1972. An oddity for Berry, this featured piano and two tenor sax players (James Robinson, Leroy C. Davis), but little guitar. Click on the Link above, left, to view the original single, with a color picture sleeve (ACTUALLY - the same sleeve was used for his first four singles of 1964)
He was in local favorites "O Positive" about a million years ago (actually from 1983 to 1995). / Click on Link above/ left, to read an article about this release

Rolling Stone #115 on their "500 Greatest Songs of All Time" listing, 2010 version {I'd place it MUCH higher - LsA}. For Aretha, the B-side of 'Think'.
The album title refers to a phrase used by English comedian Tony Hancock, of whom the Libertines' Pete Doherty is an avid fan - "Up The Bracket" is a slang term meaning a punch in the throat.
