The Old West (Part 2): Hanging With William Bonney and David Crockett Obviously they didn't hang out together. Billy the Kid was an Arizona outlaw, Davy was a U.S. House representative from Tennessee...and an American hero who perished at the Alamo. Plus the Kid was born 23 years after Crockett died. You may call this pairing creative license.

Oh cripes! This is the SHOW of ERRORS...and this one hurt. I spoke of "Billy 4" from the 1973 soundtrack LP by Bob Dylan, "Pat Garrett and Billy the Kid"...which I actually meant to play. Instead, I played a different song that I thought of as optional (it did refer to Billy): "She's Your Lover Now," a rarity by Dylan from 1966, dumped from the "Blonde on Blonde" album. If you live by the gun, kill me now.
